How to Remedy the Situation with Main Door Facing Sofa Directly?

A. Remove your sofa to another location

The most recommended remedy is to relocate your sofa away from the main door to avoid this bad Feng Shui placement.

B. Place a big divider screen between the main door and sofa

If there is space constraint and you cannot find any other alternative position for the sofa, you can use a big divider screen (Note: it should not be transparent or translucent and cannot be seen through) or a tall plant between them to resolve the situation. It will even be better if you can create a front foyer area at the door entrance.

C. Place 5 Emperor coins at the main door entrance

If there is no other way to re-position the sofa or have space constraint in placing the divider, you can consider placing 5 emperors coins at the main door entrance to suppress/neutralise the gush of direct energy flow coming from outside.

You can place the 5 emperors coins by standing and facing out of the door and aligned the coins from your left to right with the followings order. Shun Chi (順治), Kang Hsi (康熙), Yung Cheng(雍正),  Chien Lung (乾隆), Chia Ching (嘉慶).

These coins are from the beginning reign of Ching Dynasty: – Shun Chi (1644-1661), Kang Hsi (1661-1722), Yung Cheng (1723-1735), Chien Lung (1736-1796) and Chia Ching (1796-1820) . It is during the beginning reign of these five emperors that the Ching Dynasty was enjoying good fortune, prosperity and power. In fact there are a total of 6 emperors. After that, the power started to subside, being the reason why most Feng Shui masters would like to use the 5 or 6 Emperor’s coins as Feng Shui remedy and also enhancer to invite wealth.
