How To Use Feng Shui Compass Or Luo Pan To Your Advantage?
Feng Shui Compass, also widely known as Luo Pan, is an essential tool for a Feng Shui practitioner.
Most people perceive a compass as just a navigational tool to find directions. However, the Feng Shui compass tells the direction but can also gauge Chi’s flow in the external and internal environment.
Compared to the conventional compass that only takes eight directions, the Luo Pan splits these eight directions (Feng Shui Bagua) into 24 mountains/sub-directions. Therefore, it is essential to determine favourable and unfavourable directions.
After determining the directions, the practitioner will plot them in the house’s geomantic chart and apply the famous Feng Shui system like the 8 Mansion or the Xuan Kong Flying Stars.
How To Use The Feng Shui Compass For Correct Measurement?
1. Avoid carrying any metal items, like jewellery and electronic devices, on your body. For example, it can be a mobile phone, radio etc. The reason is that these items carry a magnetic field that can influence the accuracy of the measurement result.
2. Before measuring, inspect the compass and ensure it is not faulty or has a bent needle.
3. Hold your compass at waist level in a horizontal position.
4. When taking the measurement, always avoid areas with electronic inference, like a tablet lying on the table, a hi-fi system, etc.
